It's simple: I wanted to see if Tencent Cloud membership is that kind of scheme (you know what I mean), so I clicked to activate it, and it instantly bumped me to V2 without me paying a cent. I panicked, thinking it was a 30-day trial (turns out it wasn't; there was no mention of a 30-day trial at all)

Because it's not like Super Membership where you pay a fee; instead, it's based on your usage time and spending level

For now, V1 and V2 memberships have no difference, so it's worth keeping an eye on, but it's not a bad idea to join either, since it costs nothing
