Yes, I've fallen for Tencent (just kidding).

The story is simple: I wanted to see if Tencent Cloud Membership was that kind of scheme (you know what I mean), so I clicked to activate it. It directly bumped me up to V2, and I hadn't paid a single cent. I was scared, thinking it was a 30-day trial (but it wasn't; there was no reminder about a 30-day trial at all).

Because it's not like a Super Membership where you pay a subscription fee; it's based on your usage time and spending level.

However, at this stage, there's not much difference between V1 and V2 memberships. It should be said it's worth keeping an eye on, but it's not a bad idea to join either, since it doesn't cost any money.

Who knows, it might turn into a subscription fee system in the future (running away).
